Rushcliffe Golf Club

Case study - Rushcliffe Golf ClubRushcliffe Golf Club is situated just outside East Leake near to the Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire border. The club has approximately 750 members and it is one of the premier courses in this area. The course is on a wooded hillside which overlooks the Trent Valley. Rushcliffe Golf Club celebrated its centenary in 2009.
The book has been rated as one of the best golf club centenary publications of recent times. Pictures from the book were also made available to members as limited edition framed prints complete with the club's centenary logo. Colin Bee, the manager of Rushcliffe Golf Club said: "I worked with Robert Rathbone a lot in the build up to our centenary year and I have to say his photography work is first class. He was always very professional and a pleasure to work with. The photographs he produced for our centenary book were stunning". Geoff Evans, chairman of the centenary committee, said: "Robert Rathbone and I worked together on the production of the Rushclliffe Golf Club centenary book. During that time he always produced the pictures we required and nothing we requested appeared to be too much trouble. The resulting superb publication speaks for itself". Over the past few years I have worked closely with the management and committee of Rushcliffe Golf Club. My pictures have appeared in several brochures, a new scorecard, course planners, press adverts, posters, websites and the club's own 132 page commemorative hard back centenary book.
